Anita Kanwal achieved success in the field of acting for almost three decades and then she decided to follow her other passion - designing. Her brand motto is to make sarees: the chosen attire for every Indian woman across the globe. Anita uses techniques like hand painting and block printing as a tribute to the lesser known artisans who are struggling for survival. She mostly use hand-woven and handloom fabrics like Kerala cotton, linen, Chanderi, Monga silk. Her sarees are chic and quirky and appeal to the contemporary Indian woman. The designer is also giving a modern twist to the six-yard staple by teaming it with dhotis, skirts, tulip pants and even jeans.
